Ning-ning is a UK-based violinist, illustrator and emerging DJ with a passion for creating unique, dynamic musical experiences. Whether performing solo, collaborating with DJs, or playing with diverse ensembles, Ning-ning is known for wearing her musical heart on her sleeve, pushing the boundaries of sound. With a focus on integrating the violin into various dance genres, she collaborates closely with DJs and producers to craft innovative, genre-blending creations.

Ning-ning’s musical journey has taken her across the globe, from Greece and the USA to the Maldives, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Qatar, and Australia, enriching her craft and perspective along the way. A highlight of her career includes performing at prestigious events like the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the 2023 Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone and dj-ing in japan in may 2025.

Since 2012, Ning-ning has worked as a freelance session musician, collaborating with a range of artists, playing iconic venues like Abbey Road Studios, The Royal Albert Hall, and Real World Studios, and appearances at major festivals including - the Manchester and Cheltenham Jazz Festivals, Green Man, Shambala, Kendall Calling.
Ning-ning also had the opportunity to partake in the music video for rising artist Sipho’s single “Arms.”

In the summer of 2023, Ning-ning made her DJ debut at The Berlin Bar, and also began blending her violin with DJing, creating an innovative live show experience merging both art forms. This unique setup has been well-received at Midlands-based brands and venues like Project Events, f1 arcade, Mama Roux’s, Noel’s and Regina’s Restaurants. as a dj She made a debut at Birmingham’s renowned event Afta Dark at Lab11 in January 2025, and has since warmed up there for artists such as kidoo, alisha and ryan resso, and played alongside tom shorterz.
